For centuries, the castle has been part of a natural domain that it strives to preserve. Recent sustainable development initiatives reinforce this commitment.

Our teams and partners are local artisans, invested with us to bring the region to life and favor short circuits.

Since 2018, a permaculture vegetable garden-orchard has been cultivated in the castle’s gardens. Designed by Hugues Devries with respect for ecology, it reconnects us to the real rhythm of nature.

In 2017, the de Menthon family decided to revive the castle’s slopes and replanted biodynamic vines facing the lake, in their original location.

Throughout the year, the château comes alive with events to bring culture to life and share the challenges of sustainable development.
