\n <\/span>The castle's vineyard<\/span><\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>[vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Overlooking the village of Menthon-Saint-Bernard, the hillsides of the castle have been planted with vines since time immemorial, and this until the Second World War. At the end of the 19th century, waves of phylloxera (a parasite) decimated the vines, causing them to disappear. In spite of this, the vineyards of the ch\u00e2teau were replanted, but were eventually uprooted a few decades later.<\/p>\n

In 2017, the de Menthon family decided to bring these vines back to life through an ambitious project.
