A whole history to relive…
From the interior courtyard surrounded by a half-timbered gallery to the chapel, from the kitchen with its 15 metre long dish server carved out of the rock to the library containing 12,000 volumes from before the Revolution; from the great drawing room to the mistress of the house’s bedroom with its walls covered in Aubusson tapestries, or to the Room of the Pilgrims where passing pilgrims were received in days gone by… the Menthon family, representing the 23rd generation known to have lived here, opens the doors of their castle and gives the public the opportunity of discovering the secrets of this venerable building with guided visits. A combination of magnificently preserved secular architecture and exceptional furniture.
